Let us Read about what has been written on the Most Holy Rosary:
It is through Mary that Jesus Christ has come into the world,
and it is through Mary that He must reign over the world.

I have no better secret to know if a person does come from God, other than examining if he or she loves to say the Ave Maria and the Rosary.
St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort

The Rosary "is the Creed turned into prayer. "
John Cardinal Newman - 1864

There is a pious rite which, to be protected against the dangers threatening the world, consists in reciting… the Ave Maria, as many times as the Psalms of David, while saying before each decade the dominical prayer… With our Apostolic authority, we approve this psalter of the Virgin.
Urban IV - 1264

In 1568, Saint Pius V authorized the prayer of the Rosary, and "placed the Ave Maria at the beginning of the canonical hours."

The Rosary is a means given to Heaven in order to soothe God's wrath.
Gregory XIII - 1585

The century we live in increasingly needs heavenly help, mainly since the Church meets everywhere many subjects of affliction, because Christian states are going through numerous attempts that shake both prosperity and peace in their foundations. We highly declare that in order to be granted this help, we put the greatest hope in the Rosary.

The Rosary is a school that turns us into Christians.

All of us need to recite the Rosary, with the simplicity and fervor of the humble, the little, devotees, afflicted and confident souls for peace in the Church and in the world.
Paul VI - 1969

… Indeed, beyond the words "Ave Maria" are visible to the eyes of the soul the main stages of Jesus Christ's life. They include the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries, and place us in living communion with Jesus through the Heart of his Mother.

In the same time, our heart can, through these decades of the rosary, pick up all the aspects which make up the life of an individual, a family, a nation, the Church and humanity: personal situations, those of our neighbor, and more especially of those who are closer to us and whom we have stronger ties with. Thus, the simple prayer of the Rosary beats the rhythm of human life. During the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to meet with many persons, representatives from various nations and spheres, and also several Churches and Christian communities. I want to assert here that I have not failed to translate these relationships into the language of the rosary prayer, so all of them may meet together again in the heart of prayer, which gives to everything its full dimension.
… I cordially exhort you all to recite it.
John Paul II - 1978
